I heard this song a long time ago it seems, but was reminded of it again when Elliott Yamin sang it in American Idol. Then I went to search for the other versions of the song...and I have to say...Brian McKnight's version still tops the rest...others may disagree...

Kak Yiya found a music video the other day of a ReiK singing Como Me Duele, and shared it with me. It was a good song but unfortunately I don't speak any Spanish. Curious about what the lyrics meant, I asked my Mexican friend, Ivan to translate. I then tried to find more songs by ReiK and found a couple more, here are just 2 that I thought were good.

As Eid comes nearer (Monday, 23 October 2006) one thing that seems to be missing that I always hear at home in Indonesia is the sound of the takbir...
In Indonesia, on the eve of Eid, there will be the melodious sound of the takbir being chanted by people all around the neighborhood...accompanied by the sound of drums (bedug)...

I searched and searched the internet for this and finally found it...and I thought I'd post it here just in case someone who was not having Eid in Indonesia could have this sound echoing in their house as they prepare for Eid.

If there's anyone that has a better version PLEASE let me know and if possible send it to me :) or let me know how to get it :)

I'm a Grey's Anatomy Addict.
If there were a Grey's Anatomy Anonymous I would have to join.
Not only did I religiously watch the 1st season with Shinta when it was aired here in the UK last year.
I had my sister get me the 2nd season DVD eventhough it's now showing here in the UK....but couldn't wait to watch it week by week...so I had to watch it all
Now the 3rd season has started in the US - and thanks to Youtube I got to watch that long awaited 1st episode....

Why do I like it so much? well...the storyline, the plot, the actors, the characters...and YES..the soundtrack is always good :) so here's just a few of the good songs that have been played on the show.

The Fray's How to Save a Life is featured in the 3rd Season and has been used in the promo for the 3rd season...

Ok..now back to studying...

The grey clouds and the rain that has graced Norwich for the last couple of days has brought me back to the days when I used to play this song all the time.

There are certain people I know (and I won't mention names) that reminisce about their special someone way back when - every time they hear this song...
